5 improvements for Lada Vesta that do not help
Those who have a Lada Vesta have been interested in this topic more than once, especially those who have a car from early years of production like mine. And I, like everyone else, found many options for improvement and tried them all, and now I'll tell you why this is all complete nonsense =)
Refinement 1 – throttle adaptation.
Everything is simple – it is necessary only in one case, when you removed the damper, washed it, moved the partition itself. Yes, in this case, turn on the ignition and wait until it is adjusted. In other cases, it will NOT help in any way and does not affect anything at all.
Refinement 2 — Adjustment of the clutch sensor.
Many have heard about the cap on the clutch sensor – this is another idea created for the “hype”. Yes, I tried it, no change. If you have nothing to do “Whatever the child amuses, if only she doesn’t cry.” This is all from the category, simple self- hypnosis.
Refinement 3 – “Magic” rings on the adsorber tubes
This is the first thing I tried – the funniest thing, I bought a Vesta went and everything was in order. Then I started looking for videos about Vesta on YouTube and I started getting videos like this and what do you think? Of course, self-hypnosis worked, that I have the same thing, something twitches, some sounds appeared, and so on. A little distracted, the rings are the same complete “heresy”, do not even try to repeat it, the effect is zero.
There is no air leakage there, you can just plug this hole and nothing will change at all.
Refinement 4 – Adsorber valve clatter
“They bought a Lada Vesta, but they want something like in a Mercedes” – yes, there is a slight rumble of the valve, but firstly it’s not big, and secondly it works according to an algorithm that you don’t know and you, having heard enough from YouTube, start twisting something. Wake up people, this is not a Zhiguli! It's a foreign car!
Refinement 5 – alteration of the engine mount Lada Vesta
And I tried this, but I want to make a reservation – this refinement may help the owners of West until 2016. My Vesta, 2017, I made the same lining, but I got a very strong vibration. In my opinion, my engine mount just didn’t wear out because the rubber in the composition is normal, not like in 2015-2016.
These are all the improvements that I would not advise you to do, just waste your time and nerves. Especially if you bought a new Lada Vesta.
