Maxus D50 2018 – a new compact MPV, the Chinese concern SAIC
D50 Maxus (Maxus D50) from the company Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Gupta), officially debuted in China. In our review of the Maxus D50 2018-2019 year – news, photos, prices, equipment and specifications of a new Chinese compact MPV from the recently little-known brand Maxus. Sales in the Chinese market will begin in the 4th quarter of 2018 at a price comparable to the cost of the main competitors Baojun 730 (60800-108800 yuan) and BYD Song Max (79900-129900 yuan).
Gupt is positioning its new Maxus D50 as an affordable compact van with a stylish look and premium interior for a young family of car enthusiasts. However, the exterior design of the Maxus D50 body is quite simple and concise – in short, rectangular boxes on wheels. However, the Chinese designers have gone to great lengths to provide a similar vehicle, rewarding the D50 Maxus pillar with LED headlights, a huge trapezoidal grille and a massive bumper with striking aerodynamic elements.
On the side surface of the body of the new Gupt compact van, the company, called the D50 Maxus, is no different from its competitors in any outstanding way. Well, except that the original edges decorate the front fenders and side doors with a stroke.
The stern of the novelty is frankly boring: a large rectangle tailgate, high-mounted LED taillights, modest in form and content of the bumper.

An extensive list of options is complemented by an automatic emergency braking system, a car keeping system in a lane, a system for monitoring the blind spots of rear-view mirrors, a rear-view camera or a three-dimensional panorama.

Under the hood of the new Chinese 7-seater compact MPV will be assigned only four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines.
