Acura Integra: new images
A few days ago, a new teaser of the future revived Integra appeared, using which we made our own idea of u200bu200bwhat the car would look like.
The name Integra has been known for a long time, it was worn by a compact model of Honda (which owns the Acura brand), produced from 1985 to 2006. Acura produced a similar Integra from 1986 to 2001, after which the model was renamed the RSX and stayed on the assembly line until the same 2006. Moreover, the car during this time was offered in different body types – a sedan, a three-door and a five-door hatchback. But the most common option, of course, is the coupe. When the first information about the revival of the model appeared in August of this year, many felt that they would make a two-door version. However, the recently appeared second teaser made it clear that the car will receive a liftback body.
The front end will be inspired by other new Acura models, with the most interesting element being the Integra name stamped under the left headlight. It is still difficult to judge the proportions of the car, but if you believe all the same teasers, one of which supposedly depicts the silhouette of a future novelty, Integra can get classic proportions with a long hood and a fairly large rear overhang. The doors will be made without window frames, which evokes associations with models such as the Audi A5 Sportback and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. The rear end will echo the last-generation Integra/RSX from 2001, with horizontally elongated taillights (one of which also bears the model name) and a trunk lid connector that combines them with a handle recess in the center. And now it's clear
The novelty is positioned as a premium sports compact car. There is practically no information about the technical part yet, there is an assumption that the liftback will be built on the platform of the current generation Honda Civic. The premiere of the new Integra is expected in the spring of 2022.

Today, the Acura brand has not been officially introduced lately. The brand entered our market in April 2014, at the very beginning of the crisis, and lasted exactly two years, after which sales were stopped. As for Honda, now the company offers only two crossovers, the youngest of which is the CR-V with a single 186-horsepower atmospheric 2.4 in combination with a CVT – from 2,939,900 conventional units. The second model is Pilot, which is also offered with one engine option, a 249-horsepower 3.0 V6 paired with a 6-speed automatic, with a minimum cost of 3,849,900 conventional units.
Meanwhile, Honda last week already revived the Integra, but it's a completely different car.
