The next generation luxury sports sedan on the Maserati Quattroporte retained the familiar body contours of the previous generation model, but the proportions changed with increased dimensions. The gain is very significant and is 163 mm long, 64 mm wide and 106 mm in the wheelbase of the 5th generation of the sedan and Quattroporte.
- As a result, the dimensions of the novelty are: 5260 mm long, 1948 mm wide, 1438 – height 3170 mm wheelbase, ground clearance (clearance) – 145 mm.
- By using lightweight aluminum to produce the body structure and suspension components, the V8 sedan has shed about 100 pounds of excess weight. The curb weight of the new V6 is 1860 kg, the eight-cylinder is slightly heavier at 1900 kg.
- Depending on the installed engine and the choice of the buyer, the sedan will be based on ground tires front and rear: 245/ 45 R18 and 285/ 40 R18 245/ 40 R19 and 285/ 35 R19 convenience, 245/ 35 R20 and 285/ 30 R20, this, dressed in lightweight alloy wheels 18-20 radius with different patterns.
Traditionally, the choice of enamel colors for outdoor offering various, fifteen colors – several shades of black, gray, blue, and green, red and yellow. The same will be offered four color options for the brake calipers: black, blue, yellow, red, and in addition, two versions of the inscription “Maserati” – black and red on a gray brake.

For the “senior” motor, only rear-wheel drive, a less powerful version of the Quattroporte model can be ordered with an all-wheel drive transmission.
Suspension is fully independent on double wishbones, optionally with adjustable dampers (Skyhook adaptive suspension), power steering is used with speed-dependent power steering.
