Overview of the new car Toyota Land Cruiser 200

Both power units are quite reliable. A run of half a million kilometers without repair is not a problem for them. There are instances that have wound 700,000 km and “feel” cheerfully.

Appearance

“Brutal”, huge in size SUV, looks nice. Because of what, on the public road without attention, on the part of road users, does not remain.

Let's look under the car

Ground clearance is about 23 centimeters. Front suspension independent, linkage, spring, with integrated anti-roll bar. Rear suspension spring, dependent, where the bridge is installed.

Hydropneumatic rear and front suspension is installed on the Land Cruiser 200 in two “top” trim levels, namely: “TRD” and “Executive Lounge”.

Ventilated disc brakes are installed on the front and rear axles.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 200 frame SUV weighs about 2585-2815 kilograms, which confidently fits into the characteristics of large passenger SUVs.

As you can see in the photo above, the exhaust system for removing exhaust gases has a double pipe. In my opinion, for a V-shaped engine, this is not the best solution.

The rear of the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 looks just as impressive as the front. There is nothing superfluous in the design. Large rear optics, clearly and brightly signals the intentions of the driver.

Let's look in the luggage compartment

As for the volume of the luggage compartment, with the backs of the second row of seats not unfolded, it is approximately 909 liters.

In the five-seat version of the car, the backs of the second row of seats can not only be folded according to the 40/20/40 formula, but there is also the possibility of tipping the seats forward, as shown in the photo below.

Thanks to the wide doorway, with my height of 180 centimeters, sitting on the second row of seats is quite convenient.

Sitting on the second row of seats, in the five-seater version of the car, is comfortable. You can adjust the angle of the backrest and move the seats back and forth. The comfortable armrest has a built-in glove box and space for cup holders.

The seat trim, in my opinion, is made of leather, with a fairly even and high-quality stitching.

Between the front row of seats in the armrest there is a climate control panel for second-row passengers. The climate system in all trim levels is four-zone.

At the driver's workplace

The driver's seat is comfortable to sit in, visibility is good. The position of the steering column, mirrors and seat is memorized in three modes. The driver's and passenger's front seats are adjustable in eight directions. I note that the driver's seat with electrically adjustable lumbar support.

The instrument panel of the Torpedo is made in a modest, non-emotional style. However, I can not say that the quality of the materials is good, the fit of the parts is very clear. Wood and aluminum inserts give the interior a rich appearance. I liked this design solution.
