EAK C4 2019 – SUV Jack with a stylish design

The new Chinese crossover JAC on C4 was officially introduced in China on October 30, 2018 and is preparing to enter the local market before the end of this year. Interestingly, the C4's crossover is the first model from the Chinese brand to adopt a new design style, and looks much fresher and brighter than their crossview siblings, the JAC JAC S3 and S5. The new product looks great and adds a lot of modern and stylish design touches.

Just headlights, a compact hexagonal radiator grille with an original mesh pattern and a chrome insert along the upper edge and a bumper with original plastic and a high foglight are formed neatly in front.

The side body of the new Chinese compact crossover has many stylish design attributes that give the car a modern look: quadrophonia crayfish wheels, multi-level ribs and flourishes on the sides of the body, mirrors on powerful leg-supports, a high sill down a line aft of the roof, in turn based on floating rear racks, powerful feed.

Rear, in our opinion, managed constructors and overloaded. There is a large spoiler of an unusual shape above the glass 5 doors, domes, side lights LED lighting with fill, connected by a jumper sticky chrome bumper, fully dressed in a protective suit of plastic and complemented by lighting elements. There are many details, but, alas, on the whole, the designers failed to assemble them in a harmonious composition.

Despite the fact that the JAC S4 is a budget front-wheel drive crossover, the lower part of the body around the perimeter is powerfully covered with plastic protection that protects the edges of the front bumper and wheel arches, sills, lower doors and almost the entire rear bumper from unwanted damage, and when adding a new product reliability.

Concluding the story about the appearance of the model in C4, I want to note that the crossover is offered in a two-tone body color with a choice of colors for the roof and pillars, contrasting with the main body color (the roof can be black, paint, white or yellow), antenna-fin, roof rails and various options 17-18 inch alloy wheels.

• The external dimensions of the EAK S4 body in 2018-2019 are 4410 mm long, 1800 mm wide and 1660 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2620 mm.

The interior of the new Chinese SUV Jack C4 picks up modern accents inspired by the car body. The interior looks not only modern and stylish, but also of high quality. Available in a user-friendly form, a multi-functional steering wheel, an informative instrument panel with tachometer and speedometer radii of a split-screen on-board computer (simple, but convenient and functional), a pleasantly shaped front panel topped by a free-standing large format 10-diagonal color touch screen multimedia complex, 2 inches (Apple, game car and Android Auto, navigation, voice control, rear view or surround view camera), touch-sensitive climate control unit, driver's seat and front passenger seat with pronounced lateral support and long cushion.

The photo shows a rich configuration of the crossover, since in addition to the above equipment, they are: a keyless entry system and an engine start / stop button, cruise control with a speed limit, heated front seats, electric adjustment of the driver's seat, an electric sunroof, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and BAS and ESP.

The new JAC models are on a simple front wheel drive platform with independent front suspension (McPherson strut) and semi rear suspension (torsion beam), that is front wheel drive by default. Power steering, electric, all-wheel brakes, electric parking brake.
In the C4, there are two petrol four-cylinder engines capable of working in tandem with a 6 manual transmission and a CVT CVT.
