The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, unveiled in the spring of 2021, is said to be the most expensive new car ever. The British have never officially named their cost, but it is assumed that a certain “married couple who have achieved world-class success” paid at least $ 28 million for a 1920-1930s Rolls-Royce convertible, almost 2000 unique parts and assemblies. For example, all body panels have been handcrafted, sanded and painted.
In the stern of the car there are doors detachable with natural wood, under which there are compartments with various picnic accessories and a refrigerator. The design can be distributed, forming cocktail tables and a canopy from the sun. Under the hood of the convertible, which took four years to develop, is a 6.75-liter V12 with two turbines, the return of which is not called. For example, in a standard Phantom sedan, the unit develops 571 hp and 850 Nm of torque.

The name of the exclusive hypercar Bugatti La Voiture Noire is translated from French as “Black Car”. According to rumors, the car cost the customer 11 million euros, and taking into account taxes, the amount paid by mail increased one and a half times – to an unimaginable 16.5 million euros (about 1.47 billion conventional units). La Voiture Noire was first shown in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, after which the hypercar was sent back to the factory in Molsheim, France, for a complete tuning of the units and car system tuning.
The coupe was released in the year of the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the French sports car manufacturer founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909. At the same time, the novelty itself was dedicated to the iconic Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic model of 1936, the year of release has not changed. Bugatti La Voiture Noire is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers, developing 1500 hp and 1600 Nm of torque. The dynamic characteristics of the unique hypercar are not called. The standard Bugatti Chiron can hit 0-100 in 2.5 seconds, and its top speed is forcibly limited to 420 km/h.

In the same 2019, Bugatti introduced another super-expensive model – a coupe called Centodieci. It was dedicated to the famous EB110 model of 1992, the parallels with which the novelty can be traced not only in the name (Centodieci is translated from Italian as “110”), but also in appearance. For example, there is a clear continuity in the design of the grille, air intakes and rear of the car.
The coupe was equipped with a proprietary 8.0-liter W16 four-turbo engine, the output of which was boosted from 1500 to 1600 horsepower. The hypercar is capable of accelerating from standstill to the first “hundred” in 2.4 seconds, and its maximum speed due to aerodynamic characteristics was 380 km per hour. The circulation of the Bugatti Centodieci was limited to only 10 copies, one of which, by the way, was intended for the famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo. At the same time, customers will receive their cars only this year – it takes at least two years to assemble each car.
4 Maybach Exelero

The exclusive Exelero car was developed by the Germans in 2005 together with the rubber manufacturer Fulda (part of Goodyear) to test new high-speed tires for Maybach limousines with a capacity of 57 hp and 1020 Nm of torque. The supercar is able to accelerate from standstill to the first “hundred” in 4.4 seconds, and its maximum speed is 351 km per hour.
Complex body proportions with aggressive straight lines create a deliberately intimidating look. The interior trim used expensive genuine leather, neoprene, aluminum and polished carbon. In 2011, American rapper Birdman became the owner of an exclusive Maybach Exelero, paying $8 million for the supercar.

The Bugatti Divo hypercar, produced in an edition of 40 copies, was named after the famous French race car driver of the 1930s, Albert Divo. The car was created on the basis of the Chiron model, but at the same time, a completely different front end was developed for the Divo with an extended front spoiler and larger air intakes. The Bugatti Divo is powered by the same 8.0-liter W16 turbo engine with 1,500 horsepower.
The car is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 in 2.4 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 380 km per hour, while thanks to improved aerodynamics, improved handling and lightweight construction, the Divo is eight seconds faster than the standard Chiron on the test track in laps of the Nardo.
6 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

The Swedish manufacturer of the fastest cars in the world has built only two copies of the CCXR Trevita. The CCXR Trevita is powered by a 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 1,018 horsepower, allowing the coupe to hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
The cost of the car has reached almost $5 million. At the same time, the Californian company Luxury Lease Partners offers to rent a super-expensive coupe. The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita can be rented for up to one year. Each month driving one supercar will cost $24,000.

Lamborghini Veneno was introduced in 2013 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the famous Italian brand. The novelty is named after an aggressive bull named Veneno (translated from Spanish as “poison”), who killed a bullfighter in a bullfight in 1914. In total, from 2014 to 2015, 14 copies of exclusive models were collected in Sant'Agata Bolognese, each of which cost at least $4.5 million, making the Veneno the most expensive car in the history of the company founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The Veneno, based on the Aventador, was equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, the power of which was increased to 750 horsepower. The supercar can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 355 km/h. Interestingly, the car received a very ambiguous appearance, which was the subject of harsh criticism. For example, the American edition of Edmunds called Veneno “the worst Italian event since fascism.”

The supercar is powered by AMG's advanced six-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering 800 hp (50 hp more than the standard supercar) and 1,050 Nm of torque. Mounted alongside the engine is an Xtrac seven-speed sequential gearbox that is 35% lighter than a standard dual-clutch robot. The circulation of the supercar was limited to 40 copies.
9 Lykan HyperSport

Lykan HyperSport, developed by the Lebanese company W Motors together with the Italian design studio StudioTorino, bears the unofficial title of “the first Arab supercar”. The car was equipped with a 3.7-liter biturbo unit from the German company RUF Automotive, which specializes in the refinement of Porsche cars. The engine, combined with a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches, develops 780 hp. C and 960 Nm of torque. Lykan HyperSport is capable of accelerating from standstill to the first “hundred” in 2.8 seconds, and it takes 9.4 seconds to accelerate to 200 km / h. The maximum speed of the supercar is 395 km per hour.
This model became famous thanks to the 2015 film Fast and the Furious 7, for which 10 copies of the Lykan HyperSport model were prepared, 9 of which were destroyed during filming. At the same time, even fewer cars were produced that were not filmed in films, but were supplied to customers – only seven pieces. The supercar can be seen live in the United Arab Emirates: a few years ago, an exclusive coupe joined the fleet of the Abu Dhabi police.
