The car of the brand is positioned as a budget car with a hint of premium and to some extent exclusivity, of course, in comparison with Dongfeng models.

We occasionally pay attention to the most interesting models of this brand: the compact MPV M50V Venucia hatchback, the Venucia D60 hatchback sedan, the Venucia T90 hatchback crossover. However, most of the Venucia hatchback lineup remains in the shadows due to the low interest of many motorists in the car of the brand (the Venucia hatchback car has not been officially sold lately, as in other countries).

Let's get back to the Venucia T70 crossover hatchback, but rather to the pre-reform model that debuted on the Chinese market in January 2015 (pictured above). Nissan Qashqai of the first generation of the T70 model borrowed quite a lot: an independent platform, a multi-link rear suspension, a powertrain and gearbox, a central part of the body and even some interior elements. The Chinese crossover outwardly resembles practically nothing of the Japanese donor, and, therefore, the significantly larger overall length of the body, 4542 mm, is identical to the Kasim wheelbase dimensions of 2630 mm (body length Nissan Qashqai 1st generation 4315 mm). It should also be noted that the pre-reform hatchback Venucia T70 has demonstrated a more solid appearance against the background of the Japanese brother of the platform. Mainly because of the original front and back of the body.

Having survived the restyling, the new Venucia T70 hatchback is even more distant from the Japanese brother and has received a truly modern, stylish and even original look. The new crossover body is completely in the front of the body (new hood, grille, stylish headlights with eyebrows, LED daytime running lights, bumper with original fog lights), an upgraded rear with new marker lights and a new, more strict and solid bumper.

Even if the side view finds the updated Venucia T70 hatchback more respectable than the pre-reform model. For example, even more so, in profile, the Chinese crossover looks worse than the Japanese Nissan X-Trail crossover.

The modernization also affected the Chinese and the interior of the compact crossover. The updated model received a completely new front panel with a massive center console, which is covered on top of a visor common to the instrument panel – it looks solid and modern. In addition, the instrument cluster has not changed and all other parts on the dashboard are new. In the presence of a stylish multifunctional steering wheel, a dashboard with two wells, which house the speedometer and tachometer, located between them with a monochrome on-board computer screen.

The center console is turned to the driver's side, and a large 10-inch color touch screen, advanced multimedia systems (music, navigation, smartphone, connection, rear view camera), just below the opening in the vent control unit, the climate control unit (air conditioning) and controls the auxiliary vehicle functions.

Traditionally, acquaintance with a new model, representatives of the manufacturer rolled out a new product on one of the busiest models, where, in addition, an advanced multimedia system and air conditioning are present, a keyless entry system, an engine start / stop button, power windows on all doors, rear mirrors type with LED repeaters, electrically adjustable and heated, 6 airbags, ESP from Bosch, rear parking sensors, LED daytime running lights and taillights with LEDs, electric sunroof. Leather seat upholstery will be added for an additional fee, El. driver's adjustment and all-round visibility system.

It only remains to add that the comforty interior and cozy. In the first and second rows, it is enough to accommodate five adult passengers, and the trunk in the standard position of the backrests of the second row was able to take 534 liters.
