Toyota RAV4 2021 | The new face of the Japanese crossover

12

Greetings Friends and Guests of the channel!!!

Many car enthusiasts around the world are madly in love and idolize the Japanese company Toyota, which made its name on cars that were impeccable in terms of reliability, in addition to having quite advanced features and functions that were not available to the vast majority of cars.

Time passes, the quality has become a little worse, but the love won in the 80s and 90s has not gone away, which means that car enthusiasts around the world are very warmly welcomed by the goods produced by the Japanese company. And of course, other companies do not stand aside, which offer unforgettable styling packages for Japanese models, with which Japanese models look more than just cool.

One such company is Mitsuoka, which is known for not just making body kits, but for completely reshaping a car altogether, making it a completely different car. And just at the end of last week, Mitsuoka presented its new processing, the basis for which was the new Toyota RAV4. And this is the first work of the company to transform the crossover.

So, if you are a fan of the American SUVs of the 80s, but only love the quality of the Japanese auto giant, then this kit is definitely for you. And I'll say on my own, in all honesty, that this version of the Toyta RAV4 modernization is perhaps the best of those that I have seen and it is in this performance that this crossover is the best fit.

Styling touched exclusively on the exterior of the car, without affecting the sides and interior of the crossover. All changes are on the front and back. And here, of course, there are some nuances, since the front of the crossover turned out to be simply magnificent, but the back has a rather controversial design.

At the front, it's a clear late 80s early 90s Chevrolet Trail Blazer. In the front part, a two-story head optics appeared, which has a modern LED design. Plus, it is enclosed in a chrome trim, which also divides into two tiers and a rather large radiator grille with large rectangles of the internal pattern. In the center line that divides the grille into two parts, strips of LED running lights are integrated. Looks very atmospheric.

The front bumper is also in the style of American cars and has an almost completely chrome finish. In general, the front part began to consist almost entirely of chrome elements, as a tribute to American fashion.

In the lateral part, the new muzzle also has a peculiar inventory along the hood and the inclination of the front part, which by the way received a negative angle of inclination. In the upper part of the wing near the hood, a side air intake appeared, which again received a chrome trim. Everything else on the side is the well-known Toyota RAV4 design. The wheel arches left part of the edging, made of dark plastic. There were also new stylized rims with rather wide petals and executed in a chrome version.

But the back is rather awkward and at the same time quite attractive to look at. There is a mixture of several stylistic borrowings here. The rear lights are a reference to Cadillac, whose models have similar vertical light elements. And in the Toyota RAV4 Mitsuoka, they look very good. Especially if you remember that in the original Toyota RAV4 the lights are horizontal. The trunk lid has an overlay, like on American Oldsmobile station wagons. Only in the American version, their overlays were made of wood, but the Toyota RAV4 Mitsuoka received plastic elements. The very same tailgate in shape remained the same.

But it spoils the whole rear view, as it seems to me, it is the rear bumper. No, if you look directly at it and at the back of the crossover itself, then the view is really gorgeous, especially since the rear bumper itself also has a chrome element that extends the entire width of the bumper. Looks just bomb. But if you look from the side, then here is the line where the rear wing and the rear bumper are connected and spoils absolutely everything. It turned out to be somehow out of topic, plus everything has a stamping, thanks to which there is a slight refraction of light and at an angle it seems as if the lower part is simply stuck from some other machine. It turns out a kind of scar on the body of the crossover.

As for the technical part, it remained absolutely untouched and still offers either a gasoline unit or a hybrid installation. The styling kit itself will be available for sale this month and its approximate cost in terms of the current exchange rate is within 1 million conventional units. But this modification is definitely worth the money.
