The new Mercedes-Benz GLE generation coupe has retained the concept of its predecessor, the first cross-generation GLE coupe coupe debuting early in 2015 at the American International Auto Show. It is also interesting that the wheelbase increased by only 20 mm during the generation change, while the normal wheels of the new generation increased by 80 mm. The engineers of the German company have hinted that this is no coincidence, and present the new coupe-shaped crossover with sharper and sportier handling.
The external dimensions of the body of the Mercedes-Benz Gle Coupe 2019-2020 are 4939 mm, 2010 mm wide, 1700 mm high, while the wheelbase is 2935 mm.

The interior of the new GLE coupe is practically no different from the interior of a regular Mercedes GLE crossover, but the difference, of course, is present. The store is new, by default, five-seater with a rear sofa, designed for three passengers, and the bifurcation of the backrest can be folded in a ratio of 40:20:40. Already a standard set of front sports seats, and the front panel is covered with artificial leather (a model with simple data chips is an option).
The rest of the interior is no problem. And it demonstrates a solid and strict front panel with a pair of 12.3-inch color displays (virtual dashboard and multimedia system with MBUX), a multifunctional steering wheel, a comfortable, powerful central tunnel superstructure with original handrails and wide armrests, perfectly contoured front seats in a sporty performance with bright lateral support and a friendly back row.
The luggage compartment of the 2nd generation Mercedes Gle Coupe is able to take from 655 liters from the rear seat to 1790 liters with the addition (on the previous generation, it holds a trunk of 650 liters, respectively, and 1720 liters). A nice bonus from the developers: the loading height of the luggage compartment of the new model has been reduced by as much as 60 mm compared to its predecessor.

From the very beginning of sales, the new large German cross-coupe is offered to customers in three models with six-cylinder in-line engines. Two diesel versions (2.9-litre OM656 Barbados). Default automatic transmission 9G-Tronic and 4Matic all-wheel drive. And one AMG petrol version (3.0-liter M256 turbo engine, AMG Speedshift TCT 9G automatic transmission with torque converter, 4Matic all-wheel drive with a clutch that connects the front wheels).
