Way VV6 2018 is the full brother of the Wuwei Wuwei VV5 and BB7 models
The new Chinese crossover Wei VV6 was presented to the public as part of the Beijing Auto Show in 2018 and is preparing to enter the Chinese market in the middle of this summer. Sales of the new Wei VV6 crossover with a powerful 197-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, 7 DCT robot and all-wheel drive with 5 drive modes (Standard, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand) are scheduled in China in July-August 2018 years at a price of 165,000-170,000 yuan (about 1630-1680 thousand conventional units).
I would like to note that, perhaps, crossovers of the Wei brand, created under the wing of the Great Wall of the group, will appear recently in 2019. However, it is not clear whether these will be the original VV5 Wei, Wei Wei VV6 and BB7 models or if many users will be offered copies with the price logo. By the way, the SUV Way already VV5 is being revived in the F5 price and ignited at the Beijing auto show.
The Wei VV6 crossover was created on the basis of the Wei VV5 model (common platform, engine, transmission), but the novelty differs from the donor, the larger the body dimensions with a slightly different design.
- The external dimensions of the Wei VV6 2018-2019 body are 4585 mm long, 1860 mm wide and 1720 mm high with a wheelbase of 2680 mm and 220 mm of ground clearance.
- Significantly more platform VV6 Uwei Uwei VV5 is 123 mm long, 3 mm wide and 82 mm high.
- The crossover is equipped with standard 19-inch wheels with 235/55 R19 comfort tires, and wider 20-inch 245/45 R20 tires are optionally available.
The front of the VV6 model is almost a copy of the front of the VV5 SUV (compact false radiator grille, narrow LED headlights, powerful bumper), if you do not take into account the original shape of the side air intakes, connected by a stylish slot.
More than just the differences between the five and six lineups of the Way brand are noticeable when considering crossovers on the side. The body profile of the VV6 Way looks less sporty and the roofline does not drop as much aft as the VV5 Way. There is a large door with an original relief of inflated surfaces and other rear roof pillars decorated with chrome zigzags.
The rear Way VV6 is also clearly far from sporting the stern for the younger brother of the Wei VV5 platform and looks heavier, but solid and even expensive. The Arsenal has many luggage racks, stylish LED position lights, a powerful bumper with a durable plastic panel on the bottom and a pair of dual exhaust pipes.
The interior design of the crossovers is identical, starting with the architecture of the front panel and center console in a powerful tunnel strewn with buttons, ending with the most comfortable seats for the driver and front passenger, welcoming the rear row of seats, a roomy trunk and a wide range of modern equipment. However, the space for second-row passengers in the VV6 Way's cabin is significantly larger and the storage compartment is generous.

The central tunnel is simply littered with buttons and keys. There is an electronic parking brake, a parking assistant, an assistant when descending a mountain, a heated steering wheel, a rear view camera, but the most interesting button block is responsible for choosing the optimal mode of all-wheel drive. A button to activate one of five preset driving modes and choose between standard and sport modes, and modes that provide optimal all-wheel settings for driving in snow, mud or sand. In addition, the system is in Drive mode with three modes, Normal, Eco and Sport, which change the algorithms of the engine, transmission and hydraulic booster.
