Bunker 2020. New Model – Expedition!

In 2020, a new Loaf model has finally been released in the Expeditionary version. There were already such UAZ Patriot and UAZ Hunter, but “hands” did not reach the Loaves at the plant.
And here it is! Meet:

As expected, the expedition version of the Bukhanka is painted bright orange and shod with BF Goodrich All-Terrain 225/75 R16 off-road tires

But the main thing is that the car is already sold with a power body kit. Its installation is fully legalized by the Plant.

After all, how many times the owners of the Loaves complained that between the people sitting in front and any external obstacle was just a thin iron. Now the legs are protected by a massive power bumper with a “kengurin”.

Tie rods, crankcase of the bridge and engine are also covered with special protection.

There is also a power bumper at the back, and with a spare wheel holder. Ideally, the vacated space under the bottom could be used, but this is apparently a matter of the future.

The hitch is already installed from the factory.

By the way, do you know that you can not install a towing device on all UAZ models?
The possibility of towing a trailer is expressly stated in the Vehicle Approval. And if it's forbidden there, then you can't install it.

The spare wheel “on the gate” leans to the side, thus giving access to the doors of the cargo compartment.

The cargo compartment itself is not very voluminous, but this is when compared with trucks. If with passenger cars, then there are places hoo!

Moreover, at the top there is a huge expeditionary trunk, where you can place everything you want.

The only bad thing is that now the “reserve” covers both doors at once. In order to put or take something, it will no longer be possible to simply open the door, but it will be necessary to “open the gate” without fail.

The cabin of the car remained practically unchanged.
Pleased with better upholstery tunnels and hood. In addition, the driver's seat is equipped with a longitudinal adjustment, which was not available to Loaf owners before().

There are five seats in the cabin () – two in front and three in the back. All seats are equipped with lap belts.
Traditionally, a folding table is installed on the Loaf. With it, the space immediately becomes cozier and more comfortable.

It remains to be noted that the off-road qualities are enhanced by the EATON rear electric differential lock and the front-mounted electric winch.

For the rest of the configuration, everything is standard: ZMZ-409 engine, Spicer bridges, mechanical 5 tbsp. Gearbox and double lever transfer case.

Now, with regard to the legalization of the power body kit.
It became available due to the fact that new loaves come with a new vehicle type approval (OTTS) for the vehicle number RU E-RU.MT02.00388.R6, where for models UAZ-374195, UAZ-390995 and their modifications with the index -05 and -04, the installation of metal power bumpers and an expeditionary trunk is prescribed.

Everything is great, though the price () for the “Expedition” Loaf has grown significantly and now amounts to 994,900 conventional units.

But it's not necessary to buy a Loaf in the Expedition version, the main thing is that it should be with the new OTTS, and you can install the body kit yourself.
