Engines

Toyota RAV4 has recently been offered with two new engines from the Dynamic Force family. And cars in more expensive versions are equipped with Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD: the rear wheels have individual multi-plate clutches, thanks to which thrust vectoring is implemented, and in addition, simple cam clutches are installed at both ends of the driveshaft, which completely turn it off, for example, when driving on the highway. By the way, the new Rafik does not have diesel versions in principle – even in Europe, the bet is made on hybrids.

The base price, compared with the previous generation crossover, has increased by 140 thousand conventional units: now the RAV4 costs at least 1 million 756 thousand. And for the most popular combination of a two-liter engine, CVT and all-wheel drive, you need to pay at least 2 million 87 thousand: the increase reaches 285 thousand conventional units!
