2020 Hyundai i10 – new generations of young Hyundai

The Hyundai i10 3 generation hatchback is officially presented online on September 3, 2019 before the world premiere of new items at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Now the interior of the Hyundai i10 will be completely new, stylish and modern. In the cabin, due to the increase in the distance between the axles, there is more space, but the useful volume of the trunk remains the same – only 252 liters fit under the shelves. The current design architecture of the front panel and center console, the placement of controls and equipment is convenient and correct, the driver and front passenger seats are comfortable, the rear sofa is designed for three passengers comfortably. And all this can be called a cozy interior of a subcompact hatchback.

The list of standard and optional equipment includes a multifunction steering wheel with a thick rim, an informative instrument panel dial with a large screen of the on-board computer, air conditioning or climate control, a simple factory audio system and a multimedia system with an 8-inch color touch screen, a rear view camera, a keyless access with engine start/stop button, wireless smartphone charging, heated front seats and steering wheel, electric windows and heated exterior mirrors.

Separately, we need to talk about electronic security systems. The Hyundai Arsenal SmartSense integrated automatic braking system detects not only cars, but also pedestrians and cyclists (forward collision-avoidance assistance), High Beam Assist (assistant-beam headlight), Lane Keep Assist system (tracking system), Driver Attention warning system (monitors the driver's condition) and intelligent speed limits warning (speed limiting system to detect signs of speed limits).

The new generation Hyundai i10 hatchback is equipped with gasoline engines with distributed injection, migrated under the hood of a new car of the previous generation. However, the engines have gone through a light upgrade aimed at reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Choice of two gearboxes – 5 manual gearbox and 5-speed automated AMT with single clutch disc.
The base engine is three cylinders 1.0 MPI (67 hp and 96 Nm).
More fashionable four-cylinder engine 1.2 MPI (84 HP 118 Nm).

It only remains to add that wrapped up in saving buyers, the Hyundai i10 is offered with an MPI 1.0 engine, an optional eco-packaging eco-package (more gears in the box, 14-inch rims, rear seat for two). The fuel consumption information of this ECO version is not reported, but the figures are impressive CO2 emissions of just 98 g/km (NEDC's).
