Audi RS6 Avant 2020 – a new generation of charged wagon Audi

Let's start our review with the most important, in our opinion, technical specifications of the Audi RS6 Avant C8 2019-2020. The new charged “ereska” is equipped with an upgraded V8 4.0 TFSI biturbo gasoline engine, the novelty inherited from its predecessor, but in addition to the 48-volt system, a “mild hybrid” mild hybrid. The engine puts out 600 horsepower. with. and 800 Nm and is paired with 8 Tiptronic automatic transmissions and a proprietary quattro all-wheel drive system with a mechanical center differential. The acceleration of a new generation charged RS6 wagon from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.6 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds, of course, when you activate the start control and a top speed of 250 km (electronic limiter ).

Audi fans can only hope that the company from Ingolstadt will present a new version of the performance Audi RS6 Avant. A generation before the engine produced 605 horsepower, so looking at the engine in the normal RS6 wagon, you can expect the performance version to get 650 horsepower.

The front track has been extended to 1668 mm and the rear track to 1651 mm. Standard set of 420 mm brake discs at the front and 370 mm at the rear axle. For an additional fee, carbon-ceramic discs (front 440 mm, 370 mm rear) are offered, which reduces the weight of unsprung by 34 kg.
The interior of the Audi RS6 Avant C8 is chic with sporty notes, rich equipment and high quality materials used for decoration. There is a sports steering wheel with a rim truncated at the bottom and perforated Alcantara leather trim RS sports seats in the first row with pronounced lateral support and for the first time “areski” ventilated, perforated Valcona leather trim, virtual instrument panel with RS graphics interface, a pair of color displays on the center console, decorative carbon fiber inserts, LED lights. And a solid luggage compartment that can take 565-1680 liters of payload.
