Seat Tarraco 2019 – new 7-seat crossover Tarraco

Crossover Seat Tarraco (new model SEAT Tarraco 2019-2020) is officially presented on September 18, 2018 at a special event in Barcelona. The world premiere of the flagship of the Spanish company crossover Tarraco is scheduled for October 2018 as part of the Paris Motor Show. Sales of the new Spanish crossover will begin in December 2018 (first customers will receive their cars in early spring, 2019) at a starting price of just over 30,000 euros.

It's a shame, but, apparently, the state public will not get the new Tarraco crossover, since all the new items are from the Spanish seat company (the brand left the Russian market in 2014 due to negligible sales). In the global market, the SEAT brand, by the way, after many years of failure, is for the current prosperity. Since 2015, companies began to bring Volkswagen groups in 2017, the company sold a record 468 thousand cars (by 2018, production growth in August was already 21.9% compared to last year, about 384 thousand cars were sold from January to August). The Arona crossovers and the ATEK seats, as well as the 5th generation Seat Ibiza and the new SEAT Leon, diverge especially well in Europe.

So the new, large 7-seat crossover Tarraco seat is clearly more to improve the situation in the Spanish company and to attract new customers. Interestingly, the name for the model was chosen long before the release of this phone, as they say, “by the whole world.” As a result of the popular vote, the name Tarraco was chosen (spelling the city of Tarragona in Catalonia in Latin).

As we said at the beginning of this review, the new crossover of the Spanish Tarraco is the brother of the Czech model Skoda Kodiaq and the German crossover Volkswagen Tiguan performed by Allspace. With the Czech, the relative novelty of the place is practically not similar in appearance, but the resemblance to the German relative is just as obvious, especially if you look at the car in profile.

However, the front and rear seats have the original original and decided style of the brand's signature design. In the presence of austere and full-LED headlights with characteristic LED daytime running lights, a new six carbon palisadian grille (the original seat was first tried on it), a powerful bumper with charismatic relief.

At the back, a large tailgate flaunts, complemented by LED taillights, an LED connected between the bridge and a strict bumper with a generous finish resistant to minor plastic damage.

• The outer dimensions of the Tarraco seat shell are 2018-2019 in length 4735 mm, 1840 mm wide 1658 mm high, wheelbase 2791 mm and 190 mm ground clearance.

The Tarraco crossover seats are available exclusively in rich trim and Xcellence style and are fitted as standard with full LED headlights and LED taillights with dynamic cornering and LED backlighting. For exterior finishes, we offer 8 enamel colors: Oryx White, Reflex, Silver, Indium Grey, Urano Grey, Titanium, Beige, Dark Camouflage, Atlantic Blue and Deep Black.

The interior of the new crossover is a standard Tarraco seat 5-seater with two rows of seats (two extra seats in the third row is a paid option). It is worth noting that the last line in the gallery is comfortable at home, it happens only with children. The luggage compartment allows you to load from 760 to 1920 liters in a 5-seat cabin configuration. With three rows of seats, the maximum useful volume of the trunk is a little more modest – 1775 liters.
