In the small Bavarian community of Pfaffenhofen an der Glonn located tuning Delta4x4. It is known mainly to off-road enthusiasts, how it works to improve the flotation of the corresponding equipment. So, on cars with a high center of gravity of the Bavarian master of installing additional equipment (“kenguryatniki”, winches, etc.), as well as to increase the already high ground clearance. Thus, the Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck was prepared.

First of all, the studio specialists took the suspension lift. Thanks to special spacers, it was possible to get from 100 mm in addition to the standard 203 mm. But that's not even half the battle. 100mm added, customization pickup 20-inch wheels with huge 35-inch Cooper off-road tires. And finally, with the help of new off-road springs and longer dampers, the ride height is increased by 40mm. in total, black turned 240 mm, although round atelier this number is up to 250. However, without rounding, the clearance has more than doubled.

Of course, the big wheels couldn't fit in the stock fenders, so they (the fenders) were cut out, replaced with new ones, and widen the body by as much as 200mm. in addition, the truck received a “bumper” with built-in LED “foglights” and a double “chandelier” (also LED) on the roof. The matte red-black color with a red background also looks great, as in spots of black “blobs”. But they didn't do anything in the transmission, since with the transmission. But in vain, with such dynamics, heavy wheels are noticeably worse, and the power unit will have a difficult time.

Hennessy

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

Hennessey, located in the hangars of Houston Airport, has been tuning since 1991. Its founder John Hennessy started out tuning Japanese cars but then switched to domestic (American) products. Moreover, he even makes his own supercars. So, built on the Lotus Exidge chassis, the car managed to accelerate faster than the Bugatti Veyron, and recently announced the poison F5 on a chassis of its own design, whose power reaches 1600 hp. with. But John Hennessy also finds for “ordinary” tuning. For example, to refine the most powerful serial Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 from the index, it is turned for the third time.

Firstly, the mechanics of the studio increased the power of the 6.2-liter compressor “eight” from 766 to 861 in HP, then worked on the transmission and “overclocked” it to 1011 hp. with. but this was not enough for them, and because there are no new updates – 1211 hp. with. However, this option is only available with racing fuels and the 93 petrol engine develops “only” 1100 horsepower.

As for dynamic measurements, they have not yet been made, but even without them it is clear that the car will be faster than the vysheozvuchenney 1011-horsepower version, which accelerates to 96 km/h in 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 370 km/h. For comparison, these figures are standard about ZR1 3 and 340 km/h.

Interestingly, the powertrain upgrade is offered for both manual and automatic transmission model variants. At the same time, no additional work was carried out with the “mechanics”, but the “machine” would have to be strengthened so that it was able to withstand the “workhorse” of torque.

Luma design

Mercedes-AMG 63 g

Design Lumma is a company headquartered in Winterlingen, Germany, founded in 2004. Although in fact her experience in customization is more than 30 years, the founders of the company began in 1987 as unofficial car modifications. The studio specializes in installing aerodynamic body kits for products from different manufacturers, if the manufacturer produces premium models. This time, the settings were set by the famous car – the 63 g Mercedes-AMG SUV, which recently underwent a global update procedure.

Traditionally, the Lumma car received a “wide-body” aerodynamic body kit due to the wheel arches and an increased width of 40 mm. the bumpers are also new, and rather modest compared to other wall elements, such as the hood, there are “catch” imitating air vents. Above the windshield were a “chandelier” with narrow and very stylish lamps, and on the sides of the exhaust pipe, which is double (in the case of the factory) were … installed. Above the rear window there is a small spoiler. And, of course, not without new wheels … with a diameter of 24 inches!

In addition to the updated looks, Lumma is getting a powertrain upgrade using the services of other tuning houses. This time, however, he did not announce the partnership, but said that the power of the 4-liter turbo V8 increased from 585 to 650 hp. with., and its maximum torque is increased from 850 to 950 Nm. They did not give dynamic data either, although it is clear that the jeep began to accelerate to “hundreds” faster than in the factory version, to complete this exercise in 4.5 seconds. the maximum speed in the “reserve” component of 240 km/h will increase.

Novitec

Ferrari Portofino

One of the most famous and titled closers of Italian supercars is the German company Novitec. The tuning shop is headquartered in the German city of Stetten, and its founder Wolfgang Hagedorn (wholly in German, by the way) is a fan of fast peninsula cars. Of course, he makes fast cars quickly and carefully shapes his appearance. It happened to the Ferrari Portofino.

The roadster's engine is already at the factory, given its impressive performance: 600 hp was removed from the 3.9 liter displacement. with. and 760 Nm, allowing you to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km / h. But after Novitec specialists worked on it, the power increased to 681 hp. with., and the maximum torque increased to 851 Nm. Thanks to this upgrade, acceleration to “hundreds” was reduced to 3.2 seconds, and the maximum speed reached 325 km / h.

Obviously, the change of the engine is not limited to the design of the car paid as much attention as possible. And I must say, the result is quite harmonious. Thus, Novitec claims that the aerodynamics of the roadster has been improved, so that all new attachments have been blown in a wind tunnel. We're talking about a front spoiler, hood scoops, side sills and a racing diffuser in the rear bumper. The German firm offers a wide range of 21-inch and 22-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli sports tires. In addition, the machine can be equipped with new shorter springs, which improves the already excellent handling and reduced ground clearance by 35 mm.

ABT Sportsline is not

Audi RS 5 Sportback

The company ABT Sportsline is not considered to be one of the oldest tuning companies in the world because it modified the first car produced in 1960. If you look at the history of the studio, so to speak, back in time, it turns out that in 1896, Johann ABT opened in the German city of Kempten, a forge making horseshoes. And that, whether you like it or not, real tuning. In short, the author's experience in creating a vehicle does not hold. And this experience, of course, is useful for German specialists in finalizing the Audi 5 Sportback.

The car's powertrain (2.9-liter V6 turbo) in stock form develops an impressive 450 hp. with. and 600 Nm, however, studios have such performance, of course, could not. The chip tuning procedure and the installation of a sports exhaust system brought the engine power to 510 hp. with. and maximum torque – up to 690 Nm. Representatives of the bus, without saying a word about how to improve the dynamics of the “sportbike”, but it can be assumed that he began to accelerate to 100 km / h faster than the factory copy, that he spends 3.9 C maximum speed after removing the electronic limiter should be easy to jump over the 300 km/h mark.

The design of the car also worked, although the standard bumpers have not changed, considering them aggressive. Now under the front bumper there is a powerful carbon fiber “lip” and double “mustache” on the sides, designed to direct the air flow upwards. The signature grille is clad in carbon fiber as well as the side mirrors. At the ‘stern' there are subtle lights in the rear bumper cut out by a sporty diffuser, and on the sides of the diffuser, located along a pair of exhaust pipes, also framed in carbon fiber. BMW Х4

The well-known closer of BMW cars – AS Schnitzer is based in the German city of Aachen. Change the Bavarian model, it was a long time ago, since 1964. It was then that company founder Josef Schnitzer prepared the BMW 1800 Ti for racing. Now, however, the studio does not participate in any competition, but it also remakes civilian cars with enviable constancy. One of the latest works of the company is the coupe-like crossover BMW X4.

The highest dose of updates received the “stern” part of the machine. She “bristled” with two spoilers on the fifth door and roof. If you look at the front crossover, then at first you may not notice a pair of small splitters at the bottom of the bumper. In fact, it's all “new” body, but they are enough the car began to look much sportier than the factory version. Smart ForTwo Electric Drive Convertible

I even know about the Brabus company that these cars were never interested, because this is perhaps the most famous tuning company in the world. At that time, this Brabus car, built on the basis of Mercedes-Benz were regulars in the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest in the world. In short, the experience in building heavy equipment from the company is very rich, but this instance to speed records has nothing to do.

The name of the tuning Techart house consists of two words “technology” and “art”. The company, based in the suburbs of Stuttgart, has been tuning Porsche cars since 1987. Representatives of Techart claim that all products, leaving the studio, can be safely called a work of technical art. And this Porsche 911 Turbo S fully confirms this statement.

It is enough to look at the power that designs a customized power supply to understand that the car has been seriously worked. If the standard 3.8-liter turbocharged boxer develops 580 hp. with. and 700 Nm, after tuning, its increase affects 770 hp. with. and 920 Nm. By comparison, that's far more than even the “crazy” factory RTS GT2, developing 700bhp. with. and 750 Nm! Lamborghini Urus

Atelier Mansory is based in the German city of Brand. Its owner Kourosha Mansori has made a name for himself with outrageous design iterations of expensive and very expensive cars. Among the radically changed brands: models Rolls-Royce, Bentley and many others. One of the last jobs the Germans had was the supergroover Lamborghini Urus, and the design is a very mixed bag.

When you see this car in person, it feels like it materialized straight out of a video game like Minecraft. With just the front of the body bristling “blade” air intakes carved “lip” at the bottom of a completely redesigned bumper. Cut four holes on the hood, and three “gills” on the front fenders (and the functionality of all these “holes” is a big question). On the sides of the body you can see the “faceted” thresholds.

But even crazier is the back of the car, which is associated with an alien ship. There are two main wings, and the heart is a monstrous diffuser triple exhaust system, reminiscent of rocket engine nozzles. In short, the car looks amazing, although the Mansory designers' sense of proportion has again declined.

Gemballa

Porsche Carrera GT

Typically, tuning companies make modifications to modern cars, but there are exceptions. So, the last Porsche Carrera GT rolled off the assembly line in May 2006, and only 1270 copies were produced. Years later, one of the owners of this masterpiece decided to go to Gemballa's atelier to have his specialists work on the transmission and looks, but at the same time redo the interior.

I must say that in those days the engines were not spoiled by the turbo. Therefore, in the case of the Carrera gt engine, it is natural. But what! The supercar is powered by a 5.7-liter 10-cylinder engine removed from 612 hp. with. and 590 Nm, which even today is a very good indicator. As the rework of the engine is much more complicated than the turbo (for which it is enough to increase the boost pressure with the new control program), Gemballa's minders had some problems. As a result, the power unit received a modified intake and exhaust system, a stainless steel exhaust system, as well as other “brains”. The output is 670 liters. with. and 630 Nm. Acceleration to “hundreds” was reduced from 3.9 to 3.7 C, and the maximum speed increased to 330 km/h “more than 335 km/h”.

The design is refined with a new aerodynamic body kit that includes a large fixed rear wing in place of the factory retractable spoiler. However, this tuning program is not new, the studio only replicate their own version of the upgrade they offered many years ago, called the Mirage GT. But the interior has been remodeled in full accordance with the wishes of the owner, who wanted to completely wrap it in leather and carbon fiber.
